Mersen partnered with Office Interiors to transform a workplace that had remained largely unchanged since the 1980s into a vibrant, multi-phase office environment in Newburyport, Massachusetts. The project was driven by the need to re-engage employees' post-COVID while redefining the workplace through brand expression, collaboration, and improved experience.​

​Office Interiors led workplace strategy, programming, interior design, space planning, furniture specification, finish selection, and execution across three phases of renovation. The design introduced a bold expression of Mersen’s brand identity, leveraging the company’s signature orange as a unifying element throughout the space.​

​Working within an economical budget, the project balanced refurbished workstations with high-impact shared amenities, including cafés, coffee bars, collaborative work areas, and conference spaces. The result is a workplace transformation that activates panoramic views of the Merrimack River, strengthens employee engagement, and reflects the company’s energy and forward-looking culture.
